  • SIX

Theatre Royal Bath, 29th November to 11th December 

After a sold-out run on the West End, Broadway and all over the world, the hit musical SIX is coming to Bath this December. Nominated for 5 Olivier Awards, SIX tells the story of Henry VIII’s wives in dazzling modern style. It’s been described as “remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a 75-minute celebration of 21st century girl power”. Tickets start from £29. 

  • Cinderella

Theatre Royal Bath, 16th December to 9th January

It wouldn’t be Christmas in Bath without a good panto. This year’s is Cinderella, featuring CBBC and Strictly star Dani Harmer and a hilarious, award-winning script from Bath’s own Jon Monie (who also stars as Buttons). The run starts from 16th December and continues until the new year, tickets from £9 – £38.50.

  • Love Actually Live

The Forum Bath, 2nd December

If your Christmas tradition is rewatching Love Actually for the hundredth time, you’ll love this. Head to The Forum on 2nd December for a special screening of the much-loved film soundtracked by a full live orchestra. Tickets start from £49.50. 

  • Christmas With Il Divo

The Forum Bath, 6th December

Get ready for a mesmerising evening of festive classics and greatest hits from Il Divo, one of the most original classical crossover groups of all time. You can catch them in Bath for one night only, part of a national Christmas With Il Divo Tour. Tickets start from £35, and there are VIP packages available. 

  • The Panto and the Pea

The Rondo, 9th to 19th December

A ‘bonkers’ new Christmas show is coming to Bath, at the brilliant Rondo Theatre. The Panto and the Pea is a family-friendly panto theatre show by the Natural Theatre Company, with tickets starting at £14.  

  • Live at Christmas 

The Forum Bath, 15th December

Now for some Christmas comedy at The Forum Bath, featuring some of the fastest rising comedy stars of standup and screen – including David O’Doherty, Lou Sanders, Phil Wang and host John Robins. Tickets for this all-star lineup start from £25. 

  • Bath Bach Choir – Carols by Candlelight

The Pump Room, 16th to 17th December

Another wonderful festive tradition in Bath, the annual Carols by Candlelight concert by the Bath Bach Choir will be held on two nights at The Pump Room. Expect heart-warming Christmas classics, exquisite soloists and bags of festive cheer. Tickets start from £18. 

  • Kate Rusby at Christmas

The Forum Bath, 7th December

Rising folk star Kate Rusby is putting on a special Christmas concert in Bath this December, where the Yorkshire singer-songwriter will perform alongside a marvellous band of musicians. Tickets start from £20. 

  • Symphony of Sorrowful Songs under the Moon

Bath Abbey, 8th December

This extra-special concert is part of artist Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon exhibition at Bath Abbey, where the acclaimed Paraorchestra will perform a hauntingly beautiful piece of music by Henryk Górecki under the giant moon sculpture itself. Tickets start from £25. 

  • Omid Djalili: The Good Times Tour

The Forum Bath, 3rd December

Another comedy gem for the festive season, take a seat at The Forum and get ready to belly laugh with legendary standup Omid Djalili. Expect a comedy masterclass from the multi-award-winning comedian and actor, with tickets starting at £25.
