This is an amazing apartment. The photos are great but it’s even better in reality. You know you’re in a cool location when every time you look out of the window there are people taking photographs of the street. Inside is huge and so light and airy. I could move here tomorrow!

Our stay was great and the flexibility of the hosts a bonus. The apartment is in a great part of town although it is at the top of a hill and you travel down to the town centre which is a bit of a challenge should you want to carry shopping back to base. You could avoid this by using a taxi but that adds to expense. There is also a hop on/off bus. The apartment has presence and its location popular with tourists taking group photos and selfies. The size of the windows meant caution about attire but there was scope to use window shutters. The furnishings were of good quality but a bit dated and their placement a bit odd particularly the dining table which we moved so that we could look out as we ate to maximise the view. The bathroom was again good but dated and we couldn't get the bathwater hot enough to have one. The is a lack of decent wardrobe space and an exchange of a chest of drawers for a wardrobe combined with some drawers would be welcome. Kitchen well equipped and compact.

This was easily the best holiday rental in our more than 20 years of international travel. From an appointment standpoint, it was comfortable, roomy, and well equipped. All the furniture, linens, and supplies are top quality. The location is spectacular in that it is just on the edge of the city center and everywhere you want to go is within a 15 minute walk, most within 5. And although there's a fair amount of traffic on the circus, you hear only the birds in the morning and at night, not the traffic. It was the perfect place to unwind and then explore the city on our own time. If you're in town for only a day, maybe it's easier to be at one of the places in the middle. But if you're in town for two or more nights, this is the place! We're not staying anywhere else when we visit Bath!

This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The location is immense, the view is RIDICULOUS and everything was so comfortable! (I spent most of my time sitting in the gorgeous chaise longue!) When we checked in there were lovely little touches - some mince pies and a bottle of mulled wine. Such a gorgeous experience, and we'll definitely be coming back.

We stayed at the Kings Circus apartment for three weeks. It was one of the most enjoyable holidays we have had. We returned home happy and well rested. The apartment was light and beautiful, with everything we needed. We will certainly recommend it to our friends and family, This is the best part of Bath to stay with favourite local cafes (The Green Bird Cafe in the Margaret Buildings half way between the Circus and the Crescent), restaurants (The Ivy in Milsom Street and Chequers in River Street) and the friendly 'Saville Road' bistro/wine bar on Bennett Street behind the Assembly Rooms. All within a ten minute radius of the apartment. We felt 'at home'.
Alexa and Ray at Bath Holiday Rentals were attentive, supportive and kind with any issues.

The binder of helpful suggestions was very complete and useful. “The Circus needs no introduction and was therefore very easy to find. I was met early 3.30pm at my request by the lovely Sara, who showed me around. On entering the building, you are struck by the height of the hallway ceiling. On the first floor landing again, the windows are exquisite with decoration. The flat is lovely with a nice hallway, and a little stool for sitting on when removing or putting on your shoes/slippers when leaving. The flat has a no shoes policy, which you will understand when you see the lovely plush cream carpet. Once through the hallway you are into the grand front room. The ceilings are very high and impressive. The décor is wonderful and the sofas are really comfortable. There was a display area with a nice selection of books. The up-lighters and strategically placed lamps give plenty of light in the evening. I was pleased to see the glass table had coasters placed on all four corners. As always with Bath Holiday Rentals, there was a folder full of information on restaurants and places to visit. There was also a lovely and touching note on taking care of the Georgian shutters. Whilst there I managed to watch the play about a Bank Robbery that Goes Wrong at the Royal Theatre company, which was a very short stroll from the apartment. I also took the opportunity to visit the Circus restaurant(one of Alex’s recommendations) where I had tea and cake. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The views from the front room were wonderful. The kitchen is compact but very well equipped, and it was a pleasure to cook in there. I really enjoyed standing and gazing out the window when waiting for the kettle to boil. One of the things I really admired were the Georgian shutters rather than being plain there is really nice carvings on the inside panels. One of the best features of this apartment is without a doubt, the double height wedding doors separating the bedroom from the front room. There was a real sense of occasion in closing them in the evening and opening again in the morning with the real sense of history that goes along with such workmanship. It felt very much like being a custodian. The décor of the whole apartment reflects the Georgian aesthetic of form and symmetry. With the taupe chair in the front room being balanced by the same in the bedroom, along with a black chair by the window in the front room and the same again by the bed. The bedroom again is neutral colours, with dark woods bringing in some colour. There is a wonderful chaise lounge near the window and it was great to sit and read there in the morning and evenings. The interior decorator has very cleverly added colour to the room with the painting over the bed depicting numerous paintings, along with tall columns drawing the eye upward along with scale and a prospective. It was a real honour to stay in this apartment and I am very much looking forward to staying there again.”

We had a lovely short break and the weather was kind to us. We have stayed in the apartment before and it was nice to return to such a stunning apartment with great views. The bed is really comfortable and the apartment was immaculately clean. The heating was super efficient and we were never cold! Stayed at he King's Circus apartment for the first week of January. A fabulous, comfortable apartment in one of the best locations in Bath. Everything was spotless and beautiful. I have nothing but praise for Bath Holiday Rentals, and thanks to Alexa for coming to meet us on New Year's day. We used Bath Holiday Rentals a few years ago and I am certain we will be using them again. We have now found a new home in your beautiful city and so our search is over and therefore regrettably we will not have the excuse to book again into the lovely apartment as we will become residents from the end of April. It has been a pleasure to deal with Bath Holiday Rentals over the last two to three years - your organisation has been excellent and we would thoroughly recommend you (and have done) to anyone wishing to stay in the city.
King's Circus Apartment could not be better - well furnished, prime location - walk to the theatre, shops, restaurants and the benefit of parking permit makes it ideal. The lovely Olivia who is so welcoming and you being available on the phone should need be - great attention to detail.

My boyfriend and I had a great time in Bath sharing this truly amazing apartment for 3 nights. All I can say it wasn't long enough and we are planning to return already. The bedroom is as clean and big as the pictures suggest with the most comfortable bed and beautiful views.
Olivia greeted us on arrival and was happy to help with some local information as well as leaving us milk, coffee etc and a bottle of wine. I must say I wasn't expecting this!
With a very well equipped kitchen and a sitting room including a fire place, it was almost a hassle to leave the apartment. Almost. There are great local cafes - Green Bird Cafe on Margaret's Buildings St for one, and an Italian restaurant Martini, that we are still talking about.
I can't wait to come back and I would highly recommend this place...but with hesitation as Im scared that it will be booked up the next time we want to return...

Our week’s stay at King’s Circus Apartment was wonderful. The apartment is elegantly furnished and equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We were there to celebrate the beginning of the New Year and although this was mid winter, we found the apartment warm and welcoming. It is ideally positioned, just a short walk to all the main attractions of Bath, including the very good restaurants on George Street. In fact we parked the car on arrival and didn’t use it again until we departed seven days later (the parking permit was an absolute bonus). Our expectations were high; this apartment and the city of Bath exceeded our expectations. We hope to return.

Who could fail to be impressed with this let. Massive apartment on the 1st floor of The circus virtually in the centre of Bath. It was very clean and tidy, it had everything in the kitchen that anyone could need, it had a huge comfy bed and the benefit in the bathroom of both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. We were met and shown the facilities. At the same time a small variety of food items were left with us, enough for breakfast and a bottle of wine for the evenings. The flat has no designated car park space , but an on street parking permit was included in the price. With Bath on the doorstep we did not move the car till the day of departure. The week flew by, aided in no small way by the great accomodation.

We had a lovely time thank you at Kings Circus apartment - we really enjoyed the location - I became a local for the week at the cafes and deli in Margaret buildings and we made the most of Vistoria Park with the adventure playground and crazy golf and my daughter loved the kids activities at the fashion museum in the Assembly Rooms. Also had two great sunday roasts at the nearby gastro pubs - Marlborough Tavern and Chequers. In terms of the apartment - very comfortable and airy with beautiful views to the front and rear - nicely furnished with everything we needed. The only small thing was that those washer/dryer combination machines never dry things properly - I would always recommend separate appliances - otherwise the apartment could end up looking like a chinese laundry with clothes drying everywhere!

I often stay in Bath when I visit the UK and I generally rent an apartment. This is one of the best that I have rented and I so enjoyed living there for a week. Beautiful to look at, well fitted out with everything you might need and with a comfortable bed. I had so many friends anxious to come up and have a look to see if it was as good as the pictures - and they were all impressed. Our stay was simply divine. We both work in London and our busy schedules often make it extremely difficult to spend time together so it was a welcome break to escape to Bath. The flat was clean, crisp and perfectly situated. For going into town to buy groceries or for heading to the theatre, nothing was more than a ten minute walk away.

We spent 4 nights at the King's Circus apartment and found it to be a very clean, comfortable and beautiful apartment. The location couldn't be better for exploring the beautiful city of Bath. The views from both the front and back of the apartment were beautiful. If you drive to Bath as we did, the fact that there is a parking permit that goes with the apartment was a very valuable extra. The only problem was that the washer/dryer would not dry our clothes so we had to hang them on the drying rack. If you visit Bath and want to stay in a great place, you won't be disappointed with the King's Circus.

I have rented many vacation apartments over the last 20 years and this one is the very best. We rented it for a week, and wish we had stayed longer. It is a beautiful, spacious, blissfully quiet, and fascinating apartment (the painter Thomas Gainsborough lived in these buildings); while filled with history it is completely modernized and convenient. High, high ceilings, two large comfortable couches, a large bed, a comfortable shower, and modern kitchen. Huge windows overlook the Circus in front and over the to the distant countryside to the southeast in back.
Town shops begin a block away on the short walk to the town center, and huge excellent supermarket is a five minute walk. The Royal Crescent is a minute's walk away, as is the Museum of Fashion, and dozens of excellent restaurants.
Alexa and the others at Bath Holiday Rentals provided many extra benefits I'm unaccustomed to in renting apartments (there was coffee, milk, wine and some snacks on our arrival), and responded quickly to any questions or needs we had during our stay.
It's perfect.

We
have stayed in Kings Circus several times now, and it is one of our top 3
places in Alexa's portfolio. Light, airy, spacious, traditional yet
modern, and beautifully furnished and equipped. Fantastic location on The
Circus, great for people watching and really convenient for shops, restaurants,
theatre, and all Bath's attractions. We were warmly welcomed by Olivia
and thanks to Charlotte the flat was spotless when we arrived....and our welcome
pack was full of essentials and some lovely treats. There is no point
staying anywhere else in Bath except in one of Alexa's properties, and we are
looking forward to our next stay in August.

wonderful stay in Kings Circus Apartment.... I loved the apartment... such
space and grandeur and the most amazing views from all windows.. I especially
enjoyed lounging on the chaise longue reading... truly wonderful.... located in
one of the most prestigious locations, but moments away from all the
restaurants and shopping... marvellous!! Looking forward to
organising my diary and rebooking asap!!!!!

We had a lovely, relaxing weekend. The apartment was gorgeous and it was very nice to arrive to a thoughtful welcome pack.
We enjoyed the views over the city and loved the open space of the apartment. It had everything we needed. We have made plans to spend a few weekends in Bath over the next year or so and will definitely book with your company again.

We really enjoyed spending our 40th wedding anniversary in beautiful Bath.
The Circus apartment was perfect. Comfortable, convenient, elegant, warm, and superbly equipped. The welcome from Robert on our arrival and the welcome pack added to the attention to detail that made this break very special.
In Bath itself, a champagne breakfast in the Pump Room and a trip to the Thermae Spa were two of the activities we enjoyed in this very special city.

Apartment was absolutely amazing, beautifully finished to a very high standard with lots of luxury touches. Location was perfect, just a short 2 minute walk to the top of the high st, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby but lovely and peaceful in the flat. We ate at the eastern eye Indian restaurant and a fabulous meal with outstanding decor. Because it was Christmas market many restaurants were booked up in advance so next time we'd do the same. Service from Bath Holiday Rentals was excellent and we would definitely book with them again.

We couldn't fault our stay at Kings Circus. The apartment was well located, absolutely stunning and felt like 'home' very quickly. Alexa and Robert were lovely and made us feel very welcome, it all felt very easy and well organised, exactly what you want from a holiday rental.
I'd definitely stay with Bath Holiday Rentals again, we're already trying to work out when we can come again, and I think after posting photos of the flat on facebook a lot of my friends might well be too!

Just had a lovely stay at the beautiful King's Circus apartment. It was most welcoming and we really appreciated the complimentary goodies - especially the wine! The view across the circus is stunning and it was amazing to stay in such a historical building. We found the location to be perfect with the restaurants, bars and shops so close by but also so near the countryside. And the big bonus for us was the parking permit - being able to stay right in the centre of such a beautiful historic city and park the car right outside!

We have just come back from a fabulous 6 night stay at the King's Circus Apartment and have to say that it exceeded our expectations in every way. This property is very special indeed. Its floor to ceiling windows which look out over the iconic Circus on one side and over beautiful gardens on the other, together with the magnificent high Georgian ceilings and the neutral but luxurious decor make for a wonderfully light and airy living space that breathes pristine luxury through every pore. The kitchen and bathroom are lovely and modern and the bed, apart from being a feature in itself is oh so comfy. The location could not be better. It is very quiet and you can forget about the car which you can park easily with your free permit and just walk everywhere. There are beautiful eateries, wine bars, pubs and boutique shops all on your doorstep as well as the famous Roman Baths and the beautiful Royal Victoria Park. This stunning apartment should not be missed.
Thank you Alexa and Claire for providing us with such a beautiful place to stay during our time in Bath. We will be back.

I had the most marvelous stay at the Kings Circus. Was lucky to be the first one in the apartment, but anyone coming to this flat is going to love it.
It's quite, perfectly located, with a beautiful sunlight traveling from early morning to the afternoon through out the apartment. You hear the seagulls in the morning and will have a beautiful view on the Circus and part of the hills surrounding Bath. Absolutely recommendable!!
