The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of this fabulous 18th Century building. Entrance brings you in to a long hallway from which all rooms are joined. On your left you will find the master bedroom with zip and link beds. This allows you to have the beds set up as a 6 ft superking or 2 singles. The bed overlooks the chimney tops of the city and beyond. There is a dressing table, chest of drawers and a cupboard which houses the boiler as well as hanging space for you.

In the hallway you will find a cupboard containing the washing machine and additional small freezer.

The bathroom has a shower over bath, w.c. and sink with under cupboard storage.

Bedroom 2 is located at the front of the building. It has twin beds facing each other, a luggage rack with hanging rail, chest of drawers, bedside tables and an extra bean bag should you wish for extra seating in the lounge.

The open plan lounge, diner and kitchen has been fabulously refurbished with a brand-new kitchen, housing everything you will need during your stay to cook a fabulous meal. A double electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, granite work top, and full kitchen inventory. A breakfast bar, with fridge and additional storage underneath, seats 4. The lounge has a wall mounted smart TV, 3-seater sofa , and additional arm chair. This colourful and cheerful room has floor to ceiling curtains for cosy winter nights. Both this room and bedroom 2 offer the fabulous views over Catharine Place square.

Catharine place was laid out by architect John Wood the Elder in 1777-1778. It is conveniently situated between the King’s Circus and world renowned Royal Crescent Georgian buildings. This charming square is gated and is home a number of pretty trees and shrubs from which the lounge and 2nd bedroom overlook. The square is dedicated to the civilians who lost their lives in the Bath air raids during World War 2.

The property is within a 5 minute walk to the top of the high street where you will find a multitude of shops, restaurants, galleries, bars and the famous Thermae Spa. However, nestled even closer is Margarets Buildings. It is located at the end of Catharine Place square and is home to shops and restaurants. There is a Co-Op mini supermarket located around the corner as well as Chequers restaurant. St James square has a deli, hair dressers, local grocery and convenience shop and located within a few minutes’ walk.

Victoria Park is also located within a short stroll, and has mini golf, skating rink in the winter, tennis, botanical gardens, BBQ pits and you can also watch the hot air balloons take off from the park.

Unfortunately, the council are no longer providing parking with the properties. However, you are only a couple minutes’ walk to Charlotte Street car park. The Lansdown park and ride is also an option once you have unloaded and loaded your car at the property. If you don’t mind a ten-minute walk then you can try your chances for an unrestricted parking space further along Weston Lane.

A Quality refurbished classic Bath Villa apartment. Tastefully decorated in Soho House style. I was lucky enough to be one of the first visitors at Holly View, and what a treat. All newly refurbished and a carefully thought out accommodation. Dressed and accessorised beautifully, it was a pleasure to stay. With direct views from the front over the lovely Catharine Place garden square. Conveniently located in this upmarket area just two streets away from The Royal Crescent, which is lovely and peaceful, yet surrounded by a scattering of coffee bars, places to eat and drink, as well as other curious shops. Only a short walk into the heart of this beautiful city -less than 15 minutes with much to see and appreciate on the way. Comfortable beds, quality linens, a a good bathroom with great water pressure. Wi-Fi and heating all working well, if required. All new fitted kitchen with everything you need to stay home-from-home. Excited to re-book, but fear that this gem will get booked up very quickly!!

We stayed at Holly View for a long bank holiday weekend and absolutely loved the apartment. It's on Catharine Place which is under a 10min walk to the city centre but nice and quiet, and just round the corner from The Royal Crescent. It's beautifully decorated and furnished, very comfortable and's got all the amenties you'd want - if we visit Bath again we'll definitely be back!
