We loved staying at that apartment! The location, comfort, ambience was wonderful! Everything we needed was provided.. including a neighborhood guide to find what we needed as far as groceries. We immediately found the botanical garden and made that part of our daily hiking loop. Even for February the garden looked beautiful. Bath has lots to offer from that location. The Circus, Checkers, Lulu Cafe and so many others were all exceptional and listed in their guide. We found the Little Cinema was a treat as well. 10:30am showings (we went to 3) All good ones!! We stayed 2 weeks. The people were so friendly including the staff at Bath Rentals. I would definitely use them again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

Lovely flat, bonus of having the dinning room table so we could sit around and chat. Kitchen had everything in it that you needed Bin cupboard a little wobbly and felt it might break. Bedrooms lovely. Perfect all round. The only issue we had was the code for both flats were the same so we unfortunately picked up the wrong key, but matter was solved in minutes. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.

This was our second visit to this apartment, and we have already booked for next year! The apartment is in a quiet location and easy walking distance to the sights, restaurants and shops of Bath. We love heading out in the morning for breakfast at the Green Bird Cafe, before a wander and then dinner at The Hive. We travel with two children who happily share the second bedroom. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable and easy stay. Communication from Bath Rentals is quick, helpful and organised. Always such an easy apartment to access and I’m sure if there were any issues, they would be willing and responsive.

We stayed at The Oriel in Catharine Place as a treat for my mum's big birthday and had a great weekend. Fantastic location just behind famous Royal Crescent and in a pretty Georgian garden square, this first floor flat is very spacious and elegant. Huge floor to ceiling windows with shutters, grand high ceilings and lovely furniture throughout. Everything you could want from a Bath break, even the sofa-bed was super-comfy. The flat was very clean, homely and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The welcome pack included all the kitchen basics plus a few nice treats. There's a Co-op store within a 5 minute walk, an excellent gastropub right behind the flat and several restaurants and cafes within a few minutes. All communication and instructions were clear and prompt, so I couldn't fault the service provided. The parking permit provided made life nice and easy. I did a lot of research before booking and it's exactly what I was looking for. I'd definitely stay here again!

My friends and I stayed here in July 2020 and had an excellent stay in the property. The flat is beautifully presented and spacious enough for 5 guests (with one on the sofa bed.) The location is great for exploring the Georgian centre of Bath, being very close to the Royal Crescent and Circle. It was well equipped with all of the amenities we needed along with wine, coffee, chocolate, milk and other essentials on arrival. I would definitely recommend this property.

Clean, spacious and well equipped. Having a parking permit was such a plus. We did have to circle a couple of times to find a space but always managed to find one near the apartment. The Chequers pub reopened (across from bedroom window) and the food was excellent- lovely to eat in the neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

This is a great place that’s close to all of the attractions, restaurants, and shopping Bath has to offer but is off the beaten path just enough to provide a really nice respite from the action and the crowds. It’s comfortable and pretty with 2 sitting areas offering big windows and light—the living/sitting room also has a nice view of the little green space below. And while you get plenty of charm and character, the kitchen and bath are modern. The washer/dryer unit came in very handy, and unlike some of the other combination appliances that take several hours to dry one load, this Bosch model worked really well. Even though the bathroom is small, it has a great shower, and there was plenty of space for my stuff. I was only one person, but the apartment layout (door closing off living area, 2nd bedroom, and additional sitting space in the master bedroom) offers some privacy/peace for a party of 2-4 people as well. As far as service goes, I encountered an issue of noise coming from the apartment above, and when I called Alexa the issue was taken care of, in person, literally within 10 minutes.

The Oriel, the first floor flat is a very pretty property on an impeccable street, located only 1 1/2 blocks from the incomparable Royal Crescent. The Oriel is adjacent to a beautiful small park, with pleasant bars, pubs, restaurants, and coffee bars, as well as an excellent used book shop a very short distance away. All the peoples we dealt with, welcoming agent, and cleaners were warm, kind people, and could not have been nicer. We were surprised to find parking in the neighborhood for our large rental van, and there was a pass provided with the property for the spot. We walked everywhere during our three day stay, and found the location of the flat excellent. This is an excellent, character filled accommodation. I give my highest recommendation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oriel apartment at the end of June! It was located right off the Circus and we walked to the Bath Abbey and Roman Baths within 15 minutes. We had an excellent breakfast/brunch cafe across the street from the apartment and enjoyed a superb dinner at a lovely cafe on the same block. In other words, the apartment is close to everything but located in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is clean and decorated well and we felt like we had stepped back in time!

Stayed as a family of 5 for 3 nights at February half term. The apartment was clean, well equipped and full of character. Managing logistics with Sara to collect keys etc was friendly and straightforward . We experienced no problems with parking.
Location was fantastic - just around the corner from the Royal Crescent. Easy walk into city centre and to Royal Victoria Park (great playground, even better cafe). Also just round the corner from a small Co-op.
Had a wonderful time exploring Bath. Roman Baths are awesome. Modern day spa also well worth a visit (we didn’t book, just a 30 minute queue). Also went to Longleat for a day out.
Would definitely recommend staying in this apartment.

We stayed for four nights in Bath. The flat was exactly as shown in the photos. Great water pressure, great internet (unusual during our 20-day stay in Great Britain). Beds were comfortable. Small kitchen with all the amenities. Undersized refrigerator, but very adequate for our needs. One floor up, no lift. Parking was a severe issue. They issued a permit for the area, but spots are very hard to find. We kept the car parked. The flat is about at 15 minute walk to the Roman Baths. One minute to Royal Crescent and The Circus. Walk to Baths is downhill on the way there, up hill but easy on the way home. Several great restaurants very close, including Rustico Bistro (Italian) and The Circus. We would stay here again if we return to Bath

We didn't cook but used the microwave, refrigerator, and washer/dryer. Loved the giant windows and that they had shutters and drapes to block out the early morning light. It was only about a 10-minute walk to the Roman Baths, Parade Gardens, Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey, etc. and only a few minutes walk to places to eat. The only real improvement we suggest is providing fans, because we are used to air conditioning. Fans would have helped us sleep better because there was some street and bird noise when the windows were open. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

We loved our four days in Bath. The apartment is beautiful, and exactly as described in the photos and written piece. The Oriel is in a great neighborhood, located about a 15 minute downhill walk to the Roman Baths/downtown area. The Royal Crescent and The Circus are both within a couple of minutes. Lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate area; we especially enjoyed Bistro Rustico (Italian) and The Circus (Continental). Parking is tough in the designated area, but a car is absolutely unnecessary. We would definitely book again.

How do you live with the trash situation in Bath? We ended up using public trash cans outside the apartment because there is no where to put your full trash bags. But overall great stay. Lovely city.
