Bath's famous The Circus, The Royal Crescent and The Assembly Rooms are all close by and almost all major tourist attractions are within a fifteen minute walk. The Georgians did their entertaining on the Ground and the First floors of their town houses. Therefore, these floors generally always have beautiful high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and finished with stunning Georgian architecture and cornicing. Russel Maisonette delivers on all these aspects. In the Lounge there are two comfortable three seater sofas as well as two additional arm chairs and furnished with plenty of tables and lights. Large floor to ceiling windows overlook Russel Street and views of beautiful Georgian architecture. The Lounge has it's original marble fireplace which is decorative and now houses a Smart TV with Netflix and also a DVD. The Kitchen and Dining Area are located on this floor.

The Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a lovely dinner. There is an oven, four gas hob burners, a dishwasher and a combination washer/dryer. A side board is provided for additional storage. The dining table which seats six, overlooks the back garden. Three large windows ensure a lot of natural light brightens up this room.

There are stairs leading down to take you to the three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one being an En-suite) and the door leading to the two tiered courtyard garden.

The Master bedroom is located at the back of the house overlooking the garden. It is a peaceful bedroom and has a double bed, a built in wardrobe, a chest of drawers, side tables and an En-suite shower room. The En-suite is equipped with a shower, basin and WC.

The Second and Third bedrooms are located at the front of the apartment. The Second bedroom has a Double bed, a small wardrobe, a chest of drawers and two side tables. The Third bedroom has Twin beds and by arrangement, these Zip & Link beds can be repositioned and reconnected to make a Double bed. Please note, the beds are 2'6" wide when separated so slightly narrower than the standard 3' wide. You will also find bedside tables and lamps, a small vanity table and stool as well as built in wardrobes with hanging and shelving space.

The family bathroom is located in the hallway opposite the bedrooms. It is a spacious, beautifully tiled bathroom with a hand basin, WC and a bath with an over head shower.

The fabulous courtyard garden is accessed from this level. It is a two tiered garden with a table and four chairs positioned on the lower level for those who prefer the shade. A set of stairs takes you upwards to the upper tier which is filled with lovely greenery, a long bench, and a long table with seating for six.

You are surrounded by some of Bath's most stunning Georgian architecture. Bath's famous landmarks, The Circus and The Royal Crescent are only a couple of minutes walk away. Close by is The Royal Victoria Park where you can enjoy miniature golf, tennis, Botanical gardens, hot air balloon trips and an outdoor play area for children. Museums and galleries abound, with The Fashion Museum, The Assembly Rooms and The Museum of Bath at Work around the corner. The City Centre is less than a five minute walk away. There are an abundance of choice for shopping, entertainment and many more of Bath's historic sites to explore. There are exceptional restaurants on your doorstep. Dine at The Olive Tree across the road (Bath's only Michelin star restaurant) or The Circus Restaurant on Brock Street.

You have a mini supermarket a minute's walk away or Waitrose in the centre a five-ten minute walk. A couple of streets away is George Street, which is lined with restaurants, galleries, night clubs, shops and wine bars. Milsom Street branches off George Street and is Bath's main shopping thoroughfare, leading you down towards The Pump Rooms, The Roman Baths, The Thermae Spa and Bath Abbey. Whatever you choose to do, shopping, sightseeing or entertainment, most pursuits are a pleasant stroll away from your apartment.

In terms of parking, we suggest either Charlotte Street Car Park which is about a ten minute walk away or make use of Lansdown Park and Ride. The Bath Spa Train Station and the Bath Bus and Coach Station are only about a fifteen-twenty minute walk away.

The property was well presented, clean and well-equipped. Easy access to the town centre. The host provided an easily accessible guide with recommendations for things to do, places to go, local restaurants and supermarkets. A welcome pack included milk, tea, coffee and biscuits so we were able to settle in for the night. The area was peaceful and easy to find. The flat was also quiet with a secluded outdoor area for an early morning coffee before heading out. Wi-Fi is also included which came in handy as cell phone reception was intermittent (maybe due to the thick walls). Bath is a beautiful city and when I visit again, I would definitely choose to stay at this property again. I would highly recommend a stay here. It’s perfect for a family staycation or a small group of friends. Loved it!

We dis lots of lovely city walking around the beautiful architecture, canal and river. Alexa had some great recommendations - you should definatly head to Corkage - great food, service and ambiance and buzzing on a Monday night! The apartment is beautifully proportioned and would happily house 6 adults with a rare 3 large doubles and good bathroom, kitchen and living room space. Searched quite hard to find that kind of space which along with lovely period spaces and a couple of outdoor eating options which mid September worked made our family short break. Thanks Alexa!

After 2 changes of date at the last minute we where changed to Russel Maisonette. Access was simple with help a phone call away. Accommodation was lovely, spacious , comfortable sociable sitting area, beautifully furnished and decorated. Perfection ! We spent 3 nights in this stunning home. A group of 6 friends Alexa’s maisonette was better than we could ever have imagined. No expense has been spared in this luxury home. Arriving in the evening to find the house lit with fabulous table lamps throughout. 5 star appliances, beautiful artwork, best quality bedding and an absolute impeccable attention to detail. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. The home is very spacious with the 3 bedrooms downstairs along with an en-suite and a family bathroom. The large living room and kitchen/ dining room are upstairs on street level. In fact the maisonette, despite being part of a larger building, is itself the size of a large 3 bedroom house. It’s really central on a quite, select chic road. I’d love to return in the summer months to enjoy the 2 private terraces that come with the home. Just beautiful.
