Our property is a luxury Mews House, located on a quiet residential street in the centre of Georgian Bath, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site.
The House is a two-minute walk from several of Bath's famous attractions and museums including The Royal Crescent, The Circus and The Assembly Rooms.

The House has recently been renovated to a very high standard. It benefits from an allocated off-street car parking space immediately to the rear of the property. The House has its own front door, plus French doors to the rear. The accommodation is arranged on two floors. The ground floor comprises a living area (sitting room/ lounge and dining space) and separate kitchen. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are located on the first floor.
The House sleeps up to 3 persons. A travel cot can also be provided on request.

Entrance to Property
There are 2 stone steps to the front door (the main entrance).
There are 3 stone steps to the French doors, located at the rear of the property (adjacent to the car parking space). The French doors can only be opened from inside the property.
The front door and French doors lead into the living area, which has a wooden floor.
The ceiling lights in the porch and the entrance area are both operated by standard height light switches.

Halls, Stairs, Landings, Passageways
The staircase has been constructed as a single winder. It has 8 straight steps, plus 4 that turn to the left as you ascend the staircase plus the step onto the landing.
The stairs and landing are carpeted with short pile carpet.
There is no hall in the property.
Ceiling lights are operated by standard height light switches.

Sitting Room/Lounge
The sitting room/ lounge (which also encompasses a dining area - see below) is situated on the ground floor.
The room has a mixture of seating, a sofa and a single chair with arms, together with a small side table.
There is a widescreen wall mounted digital television with remote control and a dvd player.
The flooring is oak wood with a large wool rug.
Ceiling lights are operated by standard height light switches (dimmer switches). There are also table lamps in the room.

Dining Room
The dining area is part of the sitting room/ lounge (see above) situated on the ground floor.
The dining table is circular, with four chairs (without arms).
There is some space around the table, which is moveable if required.
Ceiling lights are operated by standard height light switches (dimmer switches). There are also table lamps in the room.

Kitchen
The kitchen is situated on the ground floor.
The worktop and sink are standard height above the floor.
A fridge, freezer, washer/ dryer and dishwasher are located under the worktop along with the oven.
There is an integrated microwave above the worktop mounted within the upper wall units.
Ceiling lights are operated by standard height light switches.

Bedrooms and Sleeping Areas
Both the principle and single bedrooms are located on the first floor.
The principle bedroom includes a “super king” sized bed; this can be un-zipped to form two standard single beds.
The single bedroom includes one standard single bed.
Both rooms have overhead lighting operated by standard height light switches (dimmer switch in the single bedroom), each bed has its own bedside lamp.

Bathrooms, Shower-rooms and Toilets
The bathroom is located on the first floor.
The bathroom includes a double-ended bath with shower over and a glass shower screen.
The shower is lever operated, a 1/4 turn of the top lever switches the shower on/off. A 1/2 turn of the lower lever controls the temperature. The bath taps are lever operated (separate hot and cold).
The washbasin is at standard height with lever operated mixer taps.
Ceiling lights are operated by standard height light switches outside the bathroom (landing)

5 star Great house in great neighborhood Our family of three really enjoyed this house. The woman from the rental agency who met us at the place was really nice, responsive to texts/calls, punctual, and full of good info (for newbies to Bath). The house is comfortable -- beds and furniture, all good. The neighborhood was terrific -- felt safe, in the Circus area, about a half-mile from "downtown" Bath. Totally walkable, but far enough away that it got quiet at night. Close to the Circus, the Royal Crescent, Victoria park, at least two grocery stores, and a few great restaurants. The Circus Restaurant, in particular, deserves a recommendation -- really cozy restaurant with amazing, fresh food.

Wonderful property right at the middle of historic Bath ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A family of three stayed in this house for 4 nights. It's a delight!
Perfect in each and every way, it has everything a person would need. Fully remodeled, beautiful, tastefully decorated, fully stocked with everything, conveniently located closed to all that Bath has to offer.
Close walk to restaurants (and some very good ones too - we loved The Circus), grocery stores, parks, stores, etc. Thermae Spas and historic attractions are a short stroll away.
We would be hard pressed to find anything that was less than stellar.
Owners are very attentive, responsive and accommodating. We'll definitely be back.

We had a delightful stay at the River Street Mews. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked and the location was to die for. We really appreciated the gifts form the folks with Bath Holiday Rentals! We arrived late in the day, and they had given us a bottle of wine, cereal and milk for the morning and lots of other treats. It made our stay even nicer. Bath is a beautiful city, and as a result very popular. The apartment was an easy walk to city center and even closer was a co-op grocery and the best Italian Restaurant we could find.

Comfortable, quiet and well furnished ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The property has everything you need to feel at home while on vacation. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom is modern, the living room and the bedrooms are comfortably furnished. A supermarket and a restaurant are just around the corner. It is about 15 minutes walk to the city center and about 20 minutes to the station bath spa. The only criticism was the TV. In the evening there were many programs disturbances. But watching TV is not so important on vacation, maybe when it rains a lot. We would definitely rent this property again and can recommend it with a good conscience.

Lovely unforgettable stay The property ticked all the boxes. The location is just behind the Crescent and it was really a home away from home. It takes 15 min walk max to walk down to the baths. In between you would have crossed Bath. There is co-op mini market 3 minutes away.
A nice personal touch was the welcome from a representative from HomeAway upon on our arrival. If you are arriving by car its the perfect place as the private parking can accommodate any car size. Book it, you will not regret it. Will definitely return.

Such a good location too for easy access to all of Bath facilities including many visitor sights, museums, Assembly Rooms, theatre, shops, restaurants, cafes, Pump Rooms, and the Abbey, and all within walking distance. We couldn’t wish for anything better and will no doubt be back again soon.

The house was very comfortably furnished and was spotlessly clean. The location was great -very near to the park and lots of restaurants - and whilst everything was within walking distance, the actual road still seemed quiet and tucked away. The lady who met us was very welcoming and friendly. The kitchen was very well equipped (although we ate out an awful lot - you won't go hungry in Bath!). Bath is brilliant with loads to do - we shall definitely be returning to River Street Mews!

Seagulls may wake some early, so ear plugs are recommended (young seagulls want to be fed quite early!). The apartment is super clean, new, and so comfortable. Off street parking is A++!

I am pleased to tell you that we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at River Street Mews and hope to return in October/November.

The house was immaculate – tastefully and well furnished with very comfortable beds, even though we all felt like children again sleeping in single beds. Sara welcomed us (promptly) and showed/explained how everything worked and where everything was – except for the cutlery draw, which took us ages to find because it was so cleverly designed/hidden! The welcome pack was very, well, welcoming and meant we didn’t have to worry about getting in basic food and drink

It was lovely and quiet outside the house, while still being incredibly well located and close to get to Bath shopping centre and restaurants. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family and friends! Only one tiny niggle, and that is that the deposit was required so early and the fact that it could take two weeks to be refunded after our break…..

Otherwise, it was perfect – thank you!!!

Myself and two girlfriends stayed in this beautiful apartment for 10 days in April and May. It is one of the nicest apartments we have ever stayed in all of our travels over many years. The pictures, although very accurate, do not do this apartment justice as it is way more beautiful than we expected - it felt like a home. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom very well-appointed with a beautiful huge soaker tub and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The welcome gift of a nice bottle of wine and other goodies was very much appreciated. It is in a perfect location just a few blocks from Circus Mews and within easy walking distance of the entire town. I can't say enough about Bath - not to be missed is the free City Walking Tour, yes that's right free. It was absolutely fascinating and very informative. Also make sure you go to the Farmers Market on Saturdays. I could go on and on about this beautiful city. All I know is that I will be back one day

We had a lovely stay at River Street Mews, beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, cosy, warm and a parking space included. Great location, close to beautiful buildings and cafes and restaurants only a 10 minute walk to the busy shopping area. This is our second stay with Bath Holiday Rentals and they delivered another great stay with excellent accommodation.

Cosy modern mews house with all conveniences. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Excellent location, quiet and an easy 10 minute walk into the center of Bath. Pictures were accurate. We left our car in the parking space and walked everywhere we wanted to visit. We found the city much much busier on the weekend than during the week, worth noting if crowds are not your thing.

Your two bedroom property at River Street Mews was perfect for the family reunion with our adult son. It became a home away from home. It was so centrally located, and close to so many of Bath’s famous landmarks, that walking everywhere was a breeze!

The accommodation and furnishings was just as illustrated. Newly renovated to a very high standard, with the kitchen fitted with everything we could possibly need to make eating “at home” a great option when not exploring one of the many fabulous local restaurants. The Chequers on Rivers Street, deserves a special mention!

We particularly appreciated your suggestion of using the Cavendish Cooks for a home cooked meal on our arrival; your welcome pack and the convenience of having a supply of essentials available for us, such as the capsules for the dishwasher and washing machine.

I will have no hesitation in recommending Bath Holiday Rentals to anyone planning a visit to Bath.

What a lovely long weekend in Bath at the delightful River Street Mews – very well designed, well appointed and most comfortable. We loved it ! Being so close to excellent amenities including the splendour of The Crescent and The Circus, plus local cafes and good restaurants, we were only a very short walk into the centre with all the facilities that Bath has to offer. As regular visitors to this engaging City and to Bath Holiday Rental Properties, as always we enjoyed each moment and will be returning again in September and in November!

We stayed with Bath Holiday Rentals for the New Year and loved where we stayed, therefore my husband and I decided to bring my Mum along to celebrate birthdays and our wedding anniversary. This was a different property and slept three. We were not disappointed, again the standard of the accommodation and the fixtures and fittings were beautiful, with such lovely attention to detail. The position of River Street Mews is ideal, just behind The Circus and Royal Crescent, so ideal for exploring and the off street parking is a real bonus in Bath. We are now trying to find an excuse to spend a few days in Bath again and will have to decide which of the lovely choice of accommodation available we pick next time!
