This location is excellent for enjoying Bath on foot. The Royal crescent is straight opposite the road outside the property. There are green spaces all around with Victoria park and the botanical gardens. And a lovely green view of trees from inside the property with windows looking west so you can see the sunset over the hills. All instructions for the property and were included and clear and the communication and information from the host was very thorough and helpful. This was my first Airbnb stay and it was nice to relax in a home, feeling more like local rather than staying in a hotel. And it was great to have the option to use the facilities including the washing machine, clothes airer, plenty of hangers in the wardrobe, hair dryer, cooking and kitchen utensils etc which all made it very easy and comfortable.

Stayed in this flat for 6 days & found it quiet, well located & very tasteful with everything you could need. Beautiful view of The Royal Crescent from the outside of the building to the front. The actual flat is at the back of the building with nice views over the countryside & hills. Well equipped, lovely power shower, kitchen full of utensils, some nice touches on arrival such as chocolate, wine etc. Really nice building altogether & all of Bath is walking distance away. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location being adjacent to the Royal Crescent. Plenty of green spaces on the doorstep despite being only a short walk to the city centre. Comfortable and well equipped flat and having a parking permit is a huge bonus. Rear windows look onto the gardens and allotments and seeing hot air balloons taking flight very close by in the morning and evening was lovely. Reliable wifi connection meant that I was able to work with no problems during my stay. I was able to add an additional night on to my stay with no problems and for a good price. I hope to stay at Marlborough Heights again during further planned visits to Bath over the next few months.

I can highly recommend not only the apartment but Bath Holiday Rentals as well as they have always been excellent. You also get the benefit of that rare Bath commodity - a parking permit. First and foremost the bed was extremely comfortable. The apartment was very clean and nicely appointed with plenty of instructions and directions to help smooth out your stay. The 72 stairs could be an issue for some, but the views over Victoria Park make it worthwhile. Would definitely stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this lovely flat overlooking Royal Victoria Park and neighboring on the Royal Crescent. Slight hiccup in that hot water was not available to the sinks, but with the separate heated water system for the shower it wasn't much of a problem at all. Well stocked kitchen and the wine and treats were a nice touch. Loved having the washing machine available in the flat to clean off some of the grime from a long trip on the road. Bath was fantastic and the flat was just a short 15 minute walk from all the downtown sites.

I can highly recommend both bath holiday rentals and the apartment. BHR were very accommodating around check in and at all times gave a real sense that this is a well run attentive and very customer friendly business.
The apartment at Marlborough heights was really comfortable, well equipped and immaculately clean. I was struck by the incredible attention to detail and the lengths they had gone to to make our stay really comfortable. They notified us in the description that this was a top floor flat, it's 5 flights, so perhaps be selective about luggage. This a lovely Georgian listed building so stairs are always going to be involved! You won't be disappointed if you stay with BHR.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely top floor flat with gorgeous views over allotments and park at the back and the Royal Crescent as you walk out of the front door. Beautifully decorated with modern shower room and kitchen with all necessary appliances, the flat is comfortable and the hosts welcoming. It's within easy walking distance of the town centre and many tourist attractions including Bath Abbey, Roman Baths and Thermae spa as well as shops and restaurants. Information in the flat includes the owner's recommendations, which is very useful. The parking permit was a great asset as parking in Bath can be expensive. Highly recommended, we would definitely go again.

We really loved our 2 week stay at Marlborough Heights apartment. We would like to stay there again the next time we are in Bath. The spacious entry hall, kitchen, living/dining, bedroom, and bathroom were much appreciated. Wifi was excellent. We loved the views out to Royal Victoria park and community gardens. Standing at the arched opening in the kitchen, you could see the great view of the trees outside the living room window. The kitchen was well designed with plenty of counterspace and all the appliances you could need. The washer/dryer in the unit was so nice to use for a long stay. There is plenty of storage in the bedroom and the bathroom - again, very nice for a long stay. The bed was really comfortable and the no touch bedside lamp was great to use, especially if you needed a soft light when getting up in the middle of the night. It was a very quiet apartment and a convenient location. The city center was a short 10 to 15 minute walk. We felt very safe and comfortable in this apartment. We even met a couple of the nice neighbors. Marlborough Heights was a wonderful retreat to return to after a long day of sightseeing. We highly recommend this apartment.

5 star. Exclusive, spacious and well-equipped flat, just opposite Royal Crescent, very nicely decorated, a kitchen with everything you need. Just lovely. The food waiting on the counter was very welcome. Staff was *very* helpful in giving advice and help. Thank you so much! The only little drawback was the double bed: only 1,5m wide, so I used the spare bed in the living room.
The flat is pretty close to the centre (12-15 minutes), 10 minutes walk to the Sainsbury supermarket. And Bath is just marvellous! We enjoyed our stay a lot!

The flat is well equipped , especially the kitchen, comfortable and clean.
Only minor drawback is the climb up the stairs as it at the top of the building, but nice views from window.

We have been travelling around the UK in holiday lets for a couple of months and this is one of our absolute favourites. Actually stayed here twice. Booking and check in was easy. Amazing location right by the royal crescent but because the flat is at the back of the building it's incredibly quiet and relaxing. The views from this top floor are splendid. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the welcome goodies... very welcome!

We didn't want for anything. All the needs that we require from a rental property were provided in this well positioned top floor apartment, fantastically situated in relation to the city of Bath.
Top marks for cleanliness, cosyness and the thought that has gone into providing not just the big items, like a wonderful bed and mattress, but the small things like all of the cooking implements that you could possibly want. Even when we found that the DVD/CD player wasn't "speaking" to the TV, the response in replacing it was impressive.
Being able to walk out of the flat and be less than 5 minutes from the start of the main area of Bath was a real bonus. Bath is also a lovely place to be and we were able to leave the car outside the property for 4 of the 6 days we spent there.
No hesitation in recommending this property. One of the better rented properties we have stayed at.

"This was my second stay at Marlborough Heights and once more I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. While there may be a fair few stairs to get up to the apartment, once inside the accommodation is very welcoming. The facilities are modern and practical. They had everything I needed and lots more beside. The Christmas decorations were a nice extra touch. It's a nice short and scenic walk into the heart of Bath. Out of the 7 or 8 Bath Holiday Rental apartments that I have stayed at, I think this one is very near the top in terms of value for money". The only negative that I would point out is that the shower power wasn't great.

Our Second visit to Bath using Bath Holiday Rentals – a mixture of Business and Pleasure – what a wonderful position for this apartment – Stepping out of the Apartment and across the road into the Park. Very conveniently placed for walking into the Town but very quiet at night in this extremely comfortable and well fitted out apartment.
Claire was at the apartment at the agreed time to welcome us and had checked that everything was in order for us to enjoy a great few days.

Having visited bath many times over many years staying in expensive and frequently overrated hotels, I found Marlborough heights a refreshing change. The apartment is up quiet a few stairs but you we were handsomely rewarded by an apartment in a superb location which is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. The only thing missing was a bread knife to cut the fresh bread left as part of the well stocked welcome pack, who cares - the rest of the flat made up for this a thousand times.
I will definitely use Bath Holiday rentals again as the service and property portfolio is far superior to some of the best hotels in Bath.

The welcome pack was a fantastic treat and we settled in straight away! The location was perfect - so close to town but also near to lots of lovely green spaces. I couldn't believe that such a find could be available on the internet. Claire was taking us on a mini-tour round the apartment,(God bless her) and I couldn't wait for it to end so I could take a leap in the air. Oh yes!!, the air, it's so clean. The flat, just cosy and romantic. And the park!!! I could go on and on...
We didn't even have to take a cab, it's right in the city centre, yet removed from it all, if you know what I mean.
