Larchmont Lodge is a beautifully decorated and spacious one bedroom cottage, with off-road parking, close to the centre of Bath. It is quietly located in shared grounds, with the owner’s house opposite, just removed from the bustle of late night City life - for those who prefer a little quiet time or privacy.
It is newly refurbished with a large extension providing a separate lounge and larger master bedroom with en-suite. Fresh and modern high-end furnishings and kitchen-ware are provided. Entrance into the property leads you to a very large kitchen with dining area to seat up to 4. There is a fully-equipped kitchen - which offers a large fridge with separate freezer, dishwasher, electric oven with induction hob and a microwave - providing options for complete self-catering if desired.
There is Sophie Conran crockery and modern “designer” kitchen-ware available, housed on smart oak shelves and rich granite worktops. Glass splash-backs and Harvey Jones kitchen units complete a practical and smart, ready-for-use kitchen area. Adjacent is a shower room with a washer/dryer, shower and w.c. Opposite are several storage cupboards housed underneath the stairs.
The lounge is also on this floor and is part of the new extension. There is a stylish 2-seater love sofa, separate lounging chair, gas wood effect fire and a SKY glass TV providing SKY channels as well as other usual smart TV apps which can be viewed via your own subscriptions. The kitchen, lounge and bedroom have lovely large windows with plantation shutters as well as sky lights making the rooms light and airy.
Upstairs under the eaves, soft silver-greys and creams frame a stunning large bedroom, with pretty soft furnishings around a sumptuous super-king bed. There is plenty of room for storage, in the form of wardrobes, dressing table with drawers, ample shelving and several occasional chairs. There is a large en-suite shower room with w.c., sink, storage unit, and shower.
Although this cottage only sleeps 2, there is plenty of space both up and downstairs within which you can really stretch out, relax and enjoy any spare time during your stay. There is also a bistro table with chairs outside for alfresco dining or drinks.
There is a designated private car parking space at the front; or the Bath Spa train and bus stations are about a 20 minute walk away.

Once you get your bearings the property is an easy, picturesque walk into the city. Very well presented as photos show.
Laine is amazing and ready to assist you with any questions or solve any problems.
I recommend this property!
We took a lovely walk along the canal, which is almost on the door step.
The apartment has everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It has been thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and equipped, is very clean and contemporary and we could find no fault. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus.
We were met by Marcus from Bath Holiday rentals who let us in and explained everything in a friendly and professional manner. our booking was straightforward and the pre-arrival travel instructions etc were great. BHR had provided a comprehensive folder of good local information.
We will be returning!
We have used your company a few times and have always been pleased with the outcome .
Our recent stay at Larchmont Lodge was no exception as we found the Lodge to be very welcoming and convenient . The walk to the city centre was lovely through Sydney Gardens and not having a vehicle found the proximity excellent .
Looking forward to our next stay in Bath
We hope to visit Bath again as there is just so much to see and do, we will be in touch again
We had a very comfortable stay in Larchmont Lodge during one week. There is nothing that we missed in the well designed, fully equiped and nicely furnitured cottage. Direct connection with the centre of Bath. We brought our bikes from Holland and that helped to explore the city (stay in centre, near or along the canal!) and we made a nice trip on bike to Bradford and enjoyed the Green Two Tunnels trip. We did not miss a garden but this could maybe a little bit more stressed on the website that there is none! Overall impression: Excellent!
The accommodation was well described before we booked. The location was great (it was a short walk to Bath centre). We were pleased to find a welcome pack including milk, mineral water, cereals, biscuits and some chocolates. Plus fresh flowers too - what a lovely touch! The information provided in the Guest Information was excellent. Towels and bed linen were superb quality. The bed was very comfortable. The accommodation was very well equipped and pretty much everything we would have wanted was there (although we did not use the oven, dishwasher or washing machine during our stay).
We had impeccable service from you and your team at every point in the process. It was extremely impressive, and just what was needed. You took care of everything, we knew that either you or one of the otheres would always be there if needed. Very re-assuring and very much appreciated.
Thank you again,
If we decide to come back to bath - and we will - we surely will book our cottage with you again.
I just wanted to send you a quick email to say how lovely
Larchmont was. It was a perfect base for me for the meetings I had and I am
sure I may well use it again. Please pass on my thanks to the owners for a wonderful
little cottage with everything you could need for a relaxed stay.
Ps Robert was really sweet too J I am used to hotels, so I felt quite pampered to be greeted and shown everything!
Larchmont-Lodge was the perfect place for us; it is beautifully, very tastefully decorated and comfortable, with much attention to details.
It feels very private and the off street parking is such a bonus. The location also was ideal for us.
we could not have been more pleased with our stay.
Thank you for the quick reply, yes it was a very nice
Cottage in an ideal location for us, we had a very nice time in Bath and
visiting family in the local area.
The next time we are in the Bath area we would definitely check if you had Cottage available for our chosen dates.
We very much enjoyed a 3-day break in Bath over the New Year and the Lodge provided an excellent base for our stay. Our walk into the city centre took us through Sydney Gardens, past the Holborne Museum and then down Great Pulteney Street onto Pulteney Bridge, so in itself was a great way of seeing some of the beautiful buildings Bath has to offer. We also enjoyed a trip to the spa in the Bath Spa Hotel, which is barely a 5 minute walk away.
Inside the Lodge it was extremely comfortable. The bedroom is really beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail like extra reading lights on the bedside lamps, nice wardrobe space, a selection of toiletries and so on. We didn't use the kitchen much but could easily have done all the cooking we wanted to given how well it was kitted out.
All in all we would thoroughly recommend it and hope to visit again.
