Part of an elegant Bath stone terrace, this contemporary garden apartment has a smart entrance at basement level. A long and generous entrance hall with stripped oak wood floors, rugs and comfortable furnishings connects a vaulted bedroom and bathroom at one end to a kitchen and garden room at the other with further bedrooms and a living room between.

The natural heart of this home is the large and sociable open-plan kitchen, diner and living room. The cream fitted country style kitchen is set in a large bay looking onto an imaginatively planted courtyard garden. There is an induction hob and electric oven, a large fridge and separate freezer, a small dishwasher, a krups filter coffee maker and a generous supply of crockery, cooking utensils and cookbooks to peruse at the kitchen table which seats 6. From the kitchen you can see a bright and inviting little garden room and office (where the microwave is neatly housed). French doors open to a spacious courtyard garden with an outdoor table and chairs for 6. In fine weather, you can soak up the sun and admire all 5 floors of this lovely Georgian house, built in warm Bath stone with wrought iron balconettes, walled gardens and the mature trees of Henrietta Park visible over the top.

The living room has a large electric fire with a mirror over and two large sofas to seat up to 6. In alcoves either side of the fire is a TV with DVD and X-box 360 and a selection of books and games.

The generous master bedroom in soft woodland greens has two Bath stone alcoves which previously held a cooking range and bread oven. They are now home to an elegant chest of drawers and chair, an electric wood burning effect fire, and are opposite a comfortable 5` bed and a large Edwardian mirrored wardrobe. A smart contemporary ensuite is fully tiled in a smooth barley colour and has a small deep square bath with a rainfall showerhead over, along with a handheld shower hose. There is a WC and a handy shelf space for toiletries.

A second large family bedroom in the vaults has a 5` bed along with a pretty 3` single bed. There is plenty of room for a wardrobe and chest of drawers with mirror over.

Also in the vaults is a huge contemporary bathroom tiled throughout. Drench yourselves in a vast walk-in shower at one end or take a bath which also has a hand-held shower hose. There is a large hand basin and a WC with a long shelf for toiletries.

In the lobby in front of the bedroom and bathroom is a neat utility area with a washing machine, separate dryer and other home essentials.

Finally there is a snug single room with 3` bed. Tucked behind the bed is an open storage cupboard with hanging and shelf space. Light filters through from an internal window that looks through into the office and garden room.

Great location, really comfortable beds, also great to have two places to park cars in the centre of Bath. Communication really good. Loved our stay here. Well kitted out apartment.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Chrissi - 2022-03-27
Beautiful apartment in a perfect location to visit Bath. The added bonus of a garage and parking permit made it ideal for us visiting as two couples. Plenty of space and very clean. Felt very relaxing and at home in the place. An ideal location of only 5-10 min walk to shops/bars/restaurants/sights, also with a pub right across the road. Would definitely use this apartment again if we visited Bath again.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Caroline - 2021-10-29

Daniel St Garden Apartment Jane - 2021-10-10
We had a lovely weekend here as a group of 5 friends. A 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants via a beautiful park. Apartment was extremely clean and fully kitted out for all of our needs. Excellent communication before & during our stay. Would highly recommend
Daniel St Garden Apartment Sarah - 2021-10-02
Visited Bath for the first time and stayed in this gorgeous property. Location was brilliant, was a 10 minute walk to get to the town and there were some beautiful sites on the way. The facilities were great, beds were really comfy, was really clean, spacious, large living area, quiet and just had everything we needed. A lot of thought had gone into the property and the welcoming of guests. I would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend to anyone who is looking to visit.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Leah - 2021-09-20
Great flat with good amenities. The garage parking was very useful. The open plan living area worked well. A very well equipped kitchen. Fantastic location.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Sarah - 2021-08-16
Fantastic property with excellent facilities within walking distance of Bath town centre. A lovely park is opposite the flat for walks with the dog and a secure courtyard garden made this a wonderful property for our family. The welcome pack was very gratefully received and we can thoroughly recommend this property for anyone visiting Bath.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Nerissa - 2020-08-31
This is a beautiful apartment with everything you could need for a week - a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, gorgeous bathrooms and light and airy. Located a short walk from all of the best bits of Bath and easy access to attractions outside. We would certainly go back.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Kirstin - 2020-08-07
A beautiful and well furnished Georgian jewel, close to the city centre. Very well equipped and very clean. Lovely, modern, main bathroom, and the ensuite was very nice too. The steps down to the front door are quite steep, but the back entrance was perfect for those of us who are a little creakier
Daniel St Garden Apartment Judith - 2020-03-04
Lovely welcome from the Bath Holiday rentals lady, warm (underfloor heating) on chilly evening, spacious, well-equipped, cosy and very well designed. Great family weekend exploring the city on foot, leaving car safely in garage.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Gowland - 2019-11-25
My wife and I were looking for a two-month summer rental in Bath, a city we already knew well. We looked in 2018 while we were in Bath for a month last year, and, thanks to the excellent letting agency, Bath Holiday Rentals which only handles very special properties, and specifically to the remarkable Alexa Voisey, we found the perfect place, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lovely light-filled dining/kitchen/living room with skylights, a little study, a laundry room, and a pretty back garden with a closed garage leading out to the back lane, which was priceless since it allowed us access to the flat without negotiating the twisty steps down to the front basement door. One of the front bed/bathrooms - a quirky but typical Bath feature - was in a vault under the road. Its address is at Daniel Street (Garden Flat).

The flat was right across the road from the excellent Pulteney Arms, a hundred metres or so from a McColl’s convenience store, and a ten minute flat walk into town along Henrietta Park and then the magnificent Great Pulteney Street.
It was an extremely happy let, Bath having so much to offer and the flat offering such a perfect base. It’s just around the corner from the Holburne Museum or from Bath Rugby and the Rec. or the Avon or the canal and its quiet walks. We saw the amazing Jane Austen Festival procession. The trains and buses are twenty minutes away and everything in central Bath is so compact. We walked everywhere. Waitrose just over Pulteney Bridge.
We’re particularly grateful to Alexa and her staff, especially the amazing Ray. If anything went the least bit wrong, they were on it in an instant and it got fixed, with a truly fantastic response time. For example, we were unable to raise the umbrella on the patio table. Next day, a new one. We forwarded packages to them ahead of time; as soon as we arrived, they were delivered. Nothing seemed a trouble. Anything to help. So it’s our great pleasure to convey our sense of the true excellence both of the flat and of the letting agency and its staff.
Daniel St Garden Apartment The Whartons - 2019-10-14
This was our second stay at Daniel St Garden Apartment. The apartment is well equipped and in a good situation with a short level walk into town. The garden gives additional living space during summer and the property is in a relatively quiet location considering the easy access to the city centre. Being picky I would have liked the property to have a full size ironing board as the rest of the laundry facilities are good, but this is a minor point. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Lesley - 2019-07-25
It felt like we were in someone's home as it was fitted out really well. The welcome goodies were sensational and much appreciated after a long travelling day. The location was sensational and the apartment was incredibly spacious and light and we even got to enjoy the garden with some much appreciated sun! Parking wasn't an issue and the pub across the road was incredibly convenient after a big day of playing tourist.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Kerry - 2019-06-24
"My cousins and sister and I stayed at Daniel Street Garden Apartment for four days. It was a short walk to the center of Bath. Although it is a subterranean space, it was designed to have windows and light in every room. It was cozy and beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and modern baths and kitchen. The outdoor patio was a great space for an evening meal. The only drawback was the stairway to the front door which was steep although, with all four of us approaching 70 years, we managed well."

This is a wonderful 3 bed apartment for a family or friends. It’s the basement flat but is airy and light, with a great layout making it feel spacious. It has the benefit of a small garden, completely secure and safe for our dog. There is also the added bonus of a garage, which was so helpful, as we were there for the Bath half marathon.

The apartment was spotless, comfy beds and well kitted out with all you need. It’s in a perfect location for Bath city centre, just a 10 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Emma - 2019-03-29
We just wanted to thank you all for making our weekend in Bath so enjoyable.

Of course the weather was really nice, but the apartment, it’s location and the facilities provided made our weekend complete.

It was so easy to wander into the city centre for sightseeing and dining. The added benefit of the garden area was lovely for relaxing with a glass of wine.

Thank you also for the groceries provided for our arrival. Such a nice touch.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your company and this apartment for a great weekend away.

Special thanks to Marcus for his patience with our continually changing travel arrangements on Friday 20th April.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Claire and Steve - 2018-04-24
A very enjoyable stay! A perfect apartment with everything we needed and in walking distance of the centre of Bath.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Kate - 2017-11-20
Beautiful garden apartment. Beautiful property, very clean and well appointed. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this apartment. Though parking on the street was an issue at the weekend we made use of the garage so this wasn't really a problem.
Stairs down to front door are steep and narrow and could be a drawback for some.
Nice touch with the welcome pack , much appreciated..
Had a great meal at The Bathwick Boatman which was only a ten minute walk away as was the walk into Bath city centre, so a great location too.
Hope to return soon.
Thank you so much.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Karen - 2017-09-29
My family and I lived in the Daniel Street apartment for the month of April 2017. We have an infant and had family members stay with us to meet the baby and everyone, older - child - or adult had a great time in the apartment. The space is luxurious and functions so well. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are very well appointed. We are cooks and the kitchen was so easy to create a family meal in. For those who have limited mobility - like a stroller or a difficult time walking - the back exit is perfect. It's a great apartment, an easy walk to town and most importantly - the apartment welcomes a family of all sizes.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Kathleen G - 2017-05-30
We had a great holiday experience at Daniel St thanks to the Bath Holiday Rentals team. They were very efficient and the process of finding and booking a holiday rental in Bath was a remarkably effortless experience, when you take into account, that this was all coordinated from our home in Australia. The apartment was spotless and the fact that somebody had gone to the trouble of putting up Christmas decorations was noted & greatly appreciated. My family live near Bath so we try and make the trip from Australia as often as possible. I would definitely book through Bath Holiday Rentals again and we would also consider staying in the same Daniel street garden apartment again.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Tom - 2017-01-17
We were all really pleased with the apartment which helped to make our graduation trip a very memorable occasion. The apartment was everything we could have hoped for in terms of specification and location and the time passed all too quickly! We will miss having an excuse to regularly come to Bath but hope to return again.
Daniel St Garden Apartment John - 2016-07-09
We had a lovely time at the Daniel street apartment. It was a fantastic location for sightseeing - no need to use a car. The place was well equipped and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. We would definitely go back there if we plan a trip in the future.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Philippa - 2016-03-30
Just to say many thanks for a memorable long weekend all my friends were very impressed with the apartment and facilities
We were made very welcome by Olivia on our arrival , the welcome pack was very useful , we will be coming back to visit you again
Daniel St Garden Apartment Tracey - 2015-11-29
We all enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was lovely and I think you had thought of everything we need! We would certainly stay there again when visiting Bath. The only drawback, and I know it is not your fault, was not having a designated parking space as it took a bit of time to find somewhere to park on a few occasions. But apart from that it was all great!

Response from Alexa: There is in fact a designated garage space but if you have a tall vehicle it will not fit so you must use the permit for street parking.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Neil - 2015-11-09
We loved our stay at the Daniel St Garden Apartment. It was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and suited our family perfectly. Everything was thought of and we enjoyed the short walk into town everyday. Also, the pub across the street made my husband very happy. We would stay here again if ever in Bath and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Bath.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Lana - 2015-11-08
Just a note to let you know that we had a lovely stay at the Daniel Street apartment which was superbly equipped, very comfortable and only a short walk into town.
It was clean, comfortable and stylish and to have an outside area was a real bonus...despite the changeable weather!
The welcome pack (including wine!) was a very nice surprise too especially as we were celebrating 3 big birthdays.
We will return I'm sure!
Daniel St Garden Apartment Nicky - 2015-09-03
We had a truly wonderful time in the Daniel St Garden Apartment. Everything was exactly as promised in your website. The level, short walk from the apartment into town was ideal for my elderly mother.

I appreciated the addition of a shopping trolley so I was able to make the short trip to Waitrose without the use of the car.

Thank you for helping to create some lovely memories on our trip from California.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Michelle - 2015-08-08
Thank you very much to Bath holiday rentals for our long weekend stay in March. Even though the weather wasn’t the best at this time of year we seemed to have had a really enjoyable stay due to the condition and location of the apartment from the city centre. The apartment was the perfect setup, clean, cosy and made us feel very much at home with plenty of space for a group of friends. Location wise, we could walk to the city and didn’t have the need to use our cars at all which was really convenient for evenings out and the rainy weather. Bath rentals where available on call for any issues that may have arisen during our stay and we very much appreciated the service provided. Once again thank you for making our first Bath experience memorable as where you stay does really matter.
Daniel St Garden Apartment Rehana - 2015-04-08
Just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had, the apartment was in a great location, was stylish and had more than everything we needed.
We did not see as much of Bath as we wanted due to talking rather too much, so it is a good excuse to come back again!
Daniel St Garden Apartment Alison - 2014-10-31
May I take this opportunity of thanking you and Olivia for your response to all queries whether by email or telephone. It has been a pleasure doing business with you and we would have no hesitation in using Bath Holiday Rentals in the future. The Daniel Street Garden Apartment was ideal for our purpose being comfortable, possessing all the facilities one could wish for during our short stay, and within easy walking distance of Bath city centre.
Daniel St Garden Apartment David - 2014-10-09
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Daniel St Garden Apt. It was a very comfortable home away from home. The apartment was lovely and accommodated our needs, and the location was perfect. We appreciate the professionalism and hospitality-- from planning to departure -- of Bath Holiday Rentals. We will be in touch again if we return to Bath!
Daniel St Garden Apartment The Shultz Family - 2014-10-02
Lovely place and we will definitely stay again next time we visit Bath. Location is perfect - short walk to the centre of town and right next to a great little park. Apartment is very comfortable with some nice thoughtful touches and very convenient off street parking. And we had a very helpful welcome from Robert on arrival. All in all a great 'find'. Thanks a lot
Daniel St Garden Apartment Simon W - 2014-09-09

The place is perfect in every way. Very nice and well-kept home within walking distance to everything in Bath. We were very pleased with the amenities - everything has been well thought out - and the welcome basket of coffee, milk, cereal, chocolate, wine, and cookies was a really nice added-touch and was much appreciated. Thank you so much for everything. If we find ourselves traveling again to Bath in the future, you will be our first call.

Daniel St Garden Apartment Heather W - 2014-06-30

We stayed here for 18 days during the Christmas Market period and were very happy with the apartment. It is very spacious, comfortable, well equipped, with everything we could possibly needed. The is even an office room with a printer. All the rooms were nicely decorated and the 2 bathrooms were built with that special touch.

There was fresh fruit, biscuits and a bottle of wine when we arrived this was greatly appreciated. There is also a garage with the access to the house through the garden. Very quiet location and just 10 minutes walk to the city centre.

No complaints at all. We would definitely book it again for next year.

Daniel St Garden Apartment Anna - 2013-12-12

My son booked Daniel Street for us for Christmas and we thoroughly enjoyed living in such a well equipped house which was very convenient for the centre of Bath too. The property was well stocked with essentials of all kinds, and a very generous welcome gift. The Wifi was excellent for those of us with electronic devices. The garage was a huge boon, especially as it was raining when we arrived and we could unpack in the dry. In the summer the garden would be a huge asset, with its outdoor table and chairs. All in all, I consider Daniel Street a very exceptional property

Daniel St Garden Apartment Anne N - 2013-09-19
