We had a wonderful stay. Perfect location- quiet and not too far away from the hustle and bustle. We had everything we needed, including cereal, milk, cookies, hairdryer, and comfortable beds. The locals were the absolute best and made us feel so welcome when we attended their Platinum Jubilee Picnic! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. If you have a hard time with steps do not book; but if you don’t mind this is the perfect place in Bath.

The flat is just as it appears in the photos with lots of nice touches (lamps, furniture, paintings, rugs). Very clean and bright. The master bedroom is comfy and stylish. The second bedroom is small but snug. It’s a great location a minutes walk from the Royal Crescent. Check out the lovely coffees at Berdoulat round the corner. Thanks for having us.

Gorgeous property in Bath: building was amazing and the furnishings were perfect. Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The Royal Crescent was within 2 minute walking distance and close attractions and restaurants were within 15 minute walking distance. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the hosts gave so many great recommendations for places to visit and to eat. Would gladly stay here in the future again.

“Beautiful and characterful apartment in a lovely part of Bath. Lovely views. Around the corner from The Circus and the Royal Crescent. Kitchen well stocked with all appliances needed. Very helpful staff running the property management company. The only negative is that one of the bedrooms is extremely small: too small for two adults. Access to the flat is restricted for those without full mobility as is up multiple flights of stairs with steep stairs at the top. One of the nicest apartments we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend.”

Just returned from a lovely 3 night break in this beautiful flat. Easy to walk into the centre of the city with our 2 children aged 10 and 12. The flat was beautiful, had absolutely everything we could need. Really comfortable beds and very clean. Could not recommend it more highly for a short break. Laine helped us on arrival with directions and key instructions etc. Went to Yak Yeti Yak for a lovely Nepalese meal, also would recommend Ole tapas for an authentic experience, but it's very small and you sit on high stools. The kids loved it. Walking along the canal is fascinating with all the boats. Would definitely come back to Bath and this flat in particular

It was lovely to have had Sara waiting outside to make me feel so welcome and an added surprise to find the lovely Christmas decorations in situ, a real home away from home, it made it all feel very special for a first family gathering away from our home.
I have no hesitation in trying to suggest friends from the Island to base themselves with you should they make a trip to Bath.

Nice apartment walking distance to Bath centre
Nice property for a two night stay in Bath. Great location just outside the city center, quiet area but very close to all the sights.
The apartment is nice inside but be prepared to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the front door. We arrived to find some cereal, biscuits, coffee and a bottle of wine had been left for us. The master bedroom is big with lots of space, the second bedroom is very small but big enough for our 2 children (under 10 yrs old). One of the beds was broken and they sent someone out that day to fix it. The lounge/dining area is large and the kitchen nice and well stocked with utensils etc.
Overall a nice apartment and I would recommend it but probably look for a place with fewer stairs!

Catharine Place is a great choice for a visit to Bath. The location is adjacent to Queen Victoria Park and the Royal Crescent. The Park has beautiful walkways, gardens, golf and other facilities. The apartment is conveniently located to some great restaurants and is within easy walking distance of Bath Spa, train station and the central shopping area. Alexa (Bath Holiday Rentals) was very responsive and a great host. A guide book provided superior information about dining, sites and other information for our stay.

This apartment was everything we could have asked for. It's location was ideal-- very close to shops and sightseeing spots and good restaurants but also quiet, safe, and very appealing. It's one the top floor and this means a great view, and no neighbors on top of you so even less chance of noise. The building was very nice and the apartment well appointed in all respects. The communication was great with the property manager, Alexa, and the people who helped her. We LOVED this place! Perfect for a family of four.

I'm impressed with the agency Bath Holiday Rentals. They gave an extremely good and helpful service. The central location of the apartment was a great attraction - next to the Royal Crescent and near to the parks. It's beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The parking permit means you can leave your car for the length of your stay and not have to move it - a great bonus for Bath. The size of the second bedroom is small and is probably best suited to children, but could accommodate a single adult or a couple (there's only children's wardrobe). And you do have to be fit to walk up all the flights of stairs to the top flat, but then the views are pleasant looking out over the Georgian buildings. Bath Holiday Rentals provide a good service - I would definitely recommend them.

Our stay at Catharine Place was perfect. The apartment is well located, nicely decorated, well-equipped and within a walking distance to everything, The Royal Crescent and the Circus are really close to the flat. The kids really enjoyed the cable TV and we loved the views from the living room. Alexa, Charlotte and Claire were very helpful and kind. Moreover, the welcome pack was very useful after a long journey.
Royal Victoria Park and the play area are just round the corner, which was really fun for the children. We even attended a concert on Sunday afternoon in front of the Royal Crescent. We also went to the mini golf and enjoyed the experience. Bath is extremely beautiful, and had time to see most of the important attractions; the boys had a great time at Nº1, Royal Crescent since they were given a detective pack to investigate during the visit. We also saw the Roman Baths, the Abbey, had a bun at Sally Lunn's, had a cream tea at the Jane Austen Centre, went on a boat trip along the Avon river, etc. In addition, Bath Spa Train station is well connected with places of interest such as Oxford or Legoland Windsor for the kids. Sadly, we didn't have time to see Stonehenge.(Maybe next time). For Jane Austen lovers, there are lots of places to enjoy their favourite writer. We really hope to come back some day and will definitely stay at Catharine Place.

We really enjoyed our stay in Bath....it was a great apartment in a fantastic location. It was well equipped, the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and the bedroom was cosy. Having a parking permit made things really easy and the stairs really improved our fitness levels over the week! Thanks very much to Charlotte for organising extra lighting so quickly and accommodating our slightly later arrival.

We spent a wonderful fortnight in this apartment in Catharine Place. The views from either side of the apartment were fabulous and provided a constant source of interest from watching the local cats playing in the magical little park area which is Catharine Place to seeing the birds roosting in the uppermost branches of the trees near the window - we don't get to see much wildlife and calmness living in Rome!
We found the apartment to be a good size for a family of 3. Although not lavishly furnished, everything functioned very well in the apartment from the heating to the water. And we found all the utensils we needed to prepare meals comfortably.
The only negative thing I can say about the accommodation would be the flight of stairs up to the apartment which are pretty steep and could prove to be a little too much for older guests. But that's the only negative there is - which isn't really a negative if you consider it extra exercise which is never a bad thing!
We've stayed in numerous locations in Bath in some very luxurious apartments but we came away after having stayed in Catharine Place happier than we ever have been. It's just a truly magical place and that's about all I can say.
Would definitely recommend it to families and we hope to return there again soon.

The apartment is delightfully comfortable. It is very well equipped with a perfect homely feel. The location is perfect with Victoria Park and all the shops and restaurants minutes away. The local gastro pubs and Co-op supermarket are a bonus, and the Lime Lounge cafe round the corner does a fabulous eggs Benedict. The four flour stair climb to the apartment may not be great for the elderly or pram carrying. We will definitely stay again if we need an ideal two bed apartment.
