Whilst my 13 year old son took a short guitar course at Bath University I planned to take the laptop and a pile of reading and get mountains of work done. But Bath in the sunshine is not a place that calls out to you to get down to work. On day one I visited the Roman baths to see them in their restored glory - and that set the pattern of my days.  A trip to the Costume Museum across the road from the flat for an exhibition on The Supremes followed; then a wander round the house museum at 1 Royal Crescent; and an indulgent morning at the modern thermal baths. Add to that the seduction of Bath's shops and well, I must be honest, I didn't do a stroke. I did, however, research the restaurants and cafes and can report favourably in all directions, including - for good, simple food amid classic Bath splendour - the Pump Rooms, above the Roman baths, and for a Michelin splurge, the Bath Priory (bit of a bargain at lunchtime). And our flat, at 12 Alfred Street, couldn't have been better: excellent location, good comforts, and masses of light from its huge windows.

Thankyou for the excellent service you provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the accommodation and would certainly use Bath Holiday Rentals again.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for a lovely weekend. The apartment was everything we hoped for and much more - beautiful. We enjoyed the experience so much I doubt we will use hotels again!!  Please pass on our thanks to your colleague too who made sure we had stocked cupboards and a fridge full of essentials. Our sincerest thanks and gratitude to you all.  I will not hesitate in recommending you to friends and colleagues who visit Bath in the future.
