A really comfy and easy place to stay. Well equipped apartment overall and has efficient heating. The apartment has a slightly quirky layout which is different and fun and the little garden is really pretty.

The property is lovely and very spacious. Typical beautiful Georgian semi basement flat but with added split level so bathroom on upper half landing and tiny but perfect courtyard garden. Kitchen in vault under pavement and very well equipped although we did only make tea/coffee as such a short stay. Lovely to see a few welcoming lights on as we came down the steps as it was the day the warm October temperature suddenly dropped by 10 degrees and raining! On that note: fabulous to find a pack of playing cards whilst waiting for the downpour to subside. I think in 13 years it's the 1st time we've truly been scuppered by the weather in Bath as the enjoyment relies so much on being outside. Managed a drippy pint though at the Pulteney Arms just across Great Pulteney Street on corner of Daniel St. There's also a great minimarket shop just beyond that to the north around the corner for provisions as shocked to see the one on approach to the bridge was closed since our last visit 2 years ago and for sale. Lovely furnishings and bedroom very comfortable although not sure about the added foam mattress on top of the main one - minor point. Another that coats hook in the lobby on basement entry would be really useful but otherwise very nice. Nearest car park is at the Bath cricket club which was much cheaper than expected for 2 nights and only a 7 minute walk south of the property. Very conveniently located place and well cared for.

We had a wonderful time staying in Bath. The location is safe and in walkable distance to numerous restaurants and shops. There is Tesco up the road to purchase food/snacks. The airbnb was cozy and peaceful.

After experiencing the dense-pack of London, it was great to spend 3 nights in Bath. The Garden Flat did not disappoint. It was spacious and clean and located within a short walk from all the sights. It was very handy to be able to wash clothes on the premises, and the full kitchen was handy for getting our breakfast/coffee needs satisfied each morning. Take the road up to the Tesco Express, then take the stairs down to the canal and stroll into town (exits behind the train station).

The flat is just exceptional! The pictures do not do it justice at all. It’s a gem. It’s so spacious! It’s also really modern and has everything you need. The bathroom is on the upper floor, with the bedroom, living space and kitchen being on the lower floor. Parking was easy. Bath town is a 10 min walk away. The host is brilliant and was very accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again.

The property was beautiful, very clean and in the perfect location. The handbook was really helpful and full of many recommendations of things to do in Bath. There were little treats and a bottle of wine when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. The parking situation could have been better, even though we had access to a permit there was no guarantee of getting parked close to the property. Other than that it was the perfect air bnb! Thank you very much, we will definitely be recommending the property and would stay here again.

Thank you very much for a great stay! The accommodation is very specious, stylish and almost in the city center. There are a lot of books, travel tips and even chess board. It was very nice to find welcome coffee and snacks upon arrival. All in all the place is perfect to stay, there is just one minor thing - a neighbor upstairs , for those who is sensitive to noise might be a bit disturbed with him/her walking and moving things. Apart from this - amazing place in a gorgeous city )

The location to the center of Bath is good with a 5 to 10 min flat walk to the center.

The Garden Flat was a perfect base for our stay in Bath. The flat is beautiful and has everything you need, as well as being incredibly comfortable. It is ideally situated within easy walking distance for all the museums and galleries in Bath. We found a parking space just outside the apartment and didn't need to move the car for the whole of our stay (the parking permit was very much appreciated). We had a very good lunch at the Green Rocket Cafe, just over Poultney Bridge and really enjoyed the Victoria Gallery. It was a wonderful break and I think we will probably visit again!

Convenient location, comfortable and clean flat
We loved Vane Garden flat. It gave us everything we needed. It was spacious, comfortable and clean in an excellent location off beautiful Great Pulteney Street within easy walking distance of Bath and the train station. The flat is below street level with stairs going down which could be a problem for those with mobility issues. We knew about this beforehand and was not a problem for us. Although below street level the flat was filled with light, windows front and back and on the side in the kitchen. We even had a small private area in the back away from the street which we enjoyed. The bedroom is in the back and we slept soundly and comfortably. We never heard any street noise. This flat is very large with plenty of storage and all amenities, a kitchen, a work area with a washing machine ( be sure to ask for instructions as European machines are different than American machines), a full bathroom with tub and shower, a comfortable sitting area.
Communication prior to our trip was excellent. There were no surprises. I searched for a long time to find a comfortable place for us to stay in Bath and was fortunate to find Vane Garden Flat.

This has to be one of the best apartments not just in Bath but in England - i kid you not. The place is extraordinarily spacious, the decor and furniture befitting a Georgian pile and the flat is so well equipped visitors want for nothing.
In addition we were met by Robert who had thoughtfully provided milk, orange juice, wine and chocolates.
The flat was well prepared - it was warm and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to would be travellers

Location Location Location. Very clean centrally located property with spacious layout in the "flat" city center area of downtown Bath. Car permit was a great help although finding street parking was difficult due to seasonal Christmas Market event. Exceptionall well equipped gourmet kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. Property Management representative was prompt, courteous and helpful upon arrival time. The flat was very cold upon our arrival on the coldest days of Winter so far this year but once I found the stowed away space heater things warmed up nicely over our 3 day stay. Great DVD movie collection, also enjoyed the chess board table, sitting and dining areas. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom at the top of a short flight of stairs was very clean and well maintained. Highly recommended property for couples looking to discover the history, shopping, dining & nightlife of Bath !

A Fabulous Stay in Bath!!
We stayed at this apartment - 4 Vane Street - in Bath for 4 nights in September 2017. This is a huge beautiful apartment and very centrally located. The place is immaculately clean, and full of very thoughtful touches that are just what a traveller needs - a lovely 'welcome package' that included ground coffee, cereal, milk, cookies, chocolate - wow! The kitchen is very well supplied with cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery and all manner of cooking implements. We could have cooked up a storm, but since we were on vacation, we only made breakfasts and lunches here - it was so nice to have the means to do so. The fridge and separate freezer were wonderful for keeping our food and beverages cold and fresh, the microwave was handy and the french press for our coffee was wonderful!
We also made good use of the clothes washer since we had been on the road for 9 days by the time we reached Bath. The clothes dried very quickly on the drying rack.
We loved the back garden area where we sat out a few times. The bedroom was very comfortable - firm queen sized bed, nice dark shutters on the windows and the fact that the bedroom is in the back and away from the traffic of the street meant that we could sleep peacefully and even sleep in a bit!
The location meant we could walk into the town area easily in about 10 minutes which we did every day at least once, sometimes twice. Very close to attractions like the Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, and the shopping area.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

We had a blissful weekend at the garden flat. The weather was perfect - we went into the town, had a lovely meal out Saturday night, Sunday lunch at the boatman, hired a rowing boat and generally relaxed.
If I'm correct in my assumption, we met you and your wife trimming the geraniums as we arrived? We kept our promise and gave them plenty of water, and also the herbs in the courtyard garden.
The flat is gorgeous and we will certainly return- many thanks.

We have been coming annually to Bath for a week's holiday for many years now. The first time with Bath Holiday Rentals was in the small but magnificent apartment in the centre of The Royal Crescent.
We have stayed in a number of salubrious and beautiful apartments since then and our stay, this year, was in Vane Garden Flat. We stayed there twice previously and had a most luxurious time on each occasion.
All the apartments, including Vane Garden Flat are decorated and furnished to the highest standards commensurate with classical Bath residential accommodation. Comfort is second to none and facilities are the best including a modern kitchen with all conveniences and accoutrements.
The sitting room is very comfortable and spacious with two large leather sofas and a generous 4 seater dining table. The large bedroom is very prettily decorated with an extremely comfortable bed. It is light and airy, as is the rest of the apartment, and looks out on to the delightful little patio garden.
We spent the days visiting and re-visiting all our favourite venues including the nearby Holburne Museum or a walk into town along Great Pultney Street and over Pultney bridge for exquisite restaurants and elite shopping.
On other days we headed out of town to visit The Haynes Motor Museum, The Fleet Air Arm Museum, The Radstock Museum or the American Museum near to the university. Everyone a delight and adventure in its own way.
Car parking has never been a problem whether a small adjoining space or a residential permit.
We love our week in Bath and look forward to it as each new year comes round. We would not hesitate to recommend both this apartment and Bath holiday rentals for your stay in this wonderful city.

One suggestion. For winter it might be a good idea to include those cheapish hotel style slippers as the kitchen floor is very cold.

Firstly we would like to thank Olivia, she has been amazing and it was lovely to meet her at the property on our arrival.
The welcome pack was so lovely and the contents totally unexpected. It was a lovely surprise. The apartment itself was second to none and immaculate throughout. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch and another lovely surprise.
This was our 11th November visit to Bath but our first time at the Vane Garden Apartment and we were very impressed. We would certainly consider staying here again next year, it really was home from home.

We had a short break of three nights in this lovely flat. It was a very spacious apartment. The living and bed rooms are large and beautifully appointed, light, bright and very comfortable. The kitchen is a good size and very well equipped with every with everything you could hope for provided for the keen cook! The little back garden was a real bonus and unusual for a city apartment.
Parking was never a problem with plenty of spaces available close to the property.
This apartment is particularly convenient for all Bath amenities - just a pleasant five minute walk to the Pulteney Bridge and an excellent variety of shops,restaurants and places of interest. A regular treat was morning coffee at the Holburne museum within sight of the front door! There are several excellent restaurants nearby. We have specially enjoyed Alexa's recommendations. A walk down nearby Walcott Street is always a must.
We have stayed many times in Bath with this company in different apartments and have never been disappointed. Every comfort and convenience has been thought of and the standards of cleanliness, furnishings and decor are exceptional. We would recommend this apartment to any couple looking to enjoy and explore this beautiful city.
