This charming south-facing cottage near the city centre was originally built in the 1870`s for a lady market gardener. It has been tended with love and care and has blossomed luxuriantly. The rooms are delightful, with many original Victorian features and all are warm, sunny and comfortable. With the bonus of a garden and garage, it`s a home-from-home.

The house is positioned on Widcombe Hill and an unassuming entrance leads to two lovely Victorian double bedrooms with views over Lyncombe Vale. There is also a modern tiled bathroom with bath and shower combined. A contemporary solid ash staircase leads down the centre of the house to the living area, with cosy working fire-places and comfy sofas and a book-case inviting you to settle in. Nearby is Prior Park Gardens owned by the National Trust, The American Museum and Gardens at Claverton and many local woodland walks around Widcombe. Down the hill is Widcombe Parade with newsagents, coffee shop, organic grocery store, deli, pubs and restaurants as well as pretty gift shops and a florists. The railway and bus stations, as well as the center of Bath with its historical attractions are a ten minute stroll downhill.

There is a private garage for one car located opposite the entrance to the property.
