From this exceptional and sumptuous 18th century 1st floor apartment in the heart of Bath, you have the most glorious views over the River Avon, Pulteney Bridge, historic Bath and the rolling countryside beyond. The building was designed by Robert Adam (c. 1790) and is located immediately adjacent to the world-renowned Pulteney Bridge which is featured in many Bath postcards and souvenirs. It is in the city centre but could almost be part of a country estate. It has been beautifully restored and has wonderful period detail along with luxurious contemporary adaptations.

The reception room is magnificent with 14-foot ceilings and original cornicing designed by Robert Adam. There are comfortable sofas and a cosy gas coal- effect fire, along with a large flat-screen television with freeview and a laptop with internet access. The dining area seats 6 and is set in front of three enormous windows looking out over Bath.

A small staircase leads to a gallery, which has a comfortable lounge in which to enjoy music, reading, conversation, and the breathtaking view. It can also be used as an additional bedroom with a double-sized sofa bed. The furnishings in all the rooms are a beautiful blend of antique and contemporary.

The open-plan kitchen has been cleverly designed to complement the main room and bring it into the 21st Century. The cabinets are made of birch with inlaid mahogany detailing. The appliances are of the highest calibre with the range and cook top designed by Smeg. Concealed behind tall cabinets are a large refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, and washing machine and dryer.

Two charming double bedrooms nestle at the other end of the building, both have pretty antique furniture and furnishings. One has an en-suite with shower only and there is another large bathroom with a bath (and shower over.)

A parking permit is provided allowing you to park one car on any of the numerous roads close to the property.
